The Confidence Loop: How to Grow a Thriving Business (Even If You Don’t Feel Ready)
What if the limits of your confidence are the limits of your business, your relationships, your happiness?
That’s exactly what we explored in a recent team training—a powerful deep dive into what confidence really is (and what it’s not), how it’s built, and why it determines so much of our success in life and leadership.
Let’s break it down, reflect, and take action—because confidence isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we create.
Confidence = Action Without Distraction
To start, we set an intention to grow—knowing that growth is often uncomfortable. We asked for permission to challenge ourselves, to look at what’s really holding us back.
Everyone said yes.
Then came a powerful prompt:
Can you imagine a more confident version of yourself?
Not the perfect version. Just a slightly braver, bolder, more grounded you.
Maybe she speaks with more clarity. Maybe he makes decisions with more ease.
Can you feel that version of yourself—even for a moment?
Because here’s the truth: that version of you is not far away.
In fact, you might meet them in 30, 60, or 90 days if you choose to take aligned action consistently—especially within this business.
What Do Purium Brand Partners Actually Do?
Let’s zoom out for a moment and look at the four core roles of a Purium brand partner:
Acquire customers – through conversations, content, sampling, or community.
Onboard and support those customers – so they feel seen and supported.
Invite and enroll brand partners – people who want to build wellness and income.
Mentor and launch new partners – creating momentum and community.
Sounds simple, right?
But knowing what to do… and doing it… are very different things.
The Myth: Confidence Comes First
The Truth: Confidence Comes From Reps
Many of us wait to feel confident before taking action.
But that’s not how it works.
Confidence is built through action—especially imperfect action.
It looks like this:
Belief → Action → Results → Confidence → Expansion
It starts with a belief that something is possible.
You act on that belief (even if it’s scary).
You get results (not always success—but always feedback).
That feedback becomes evidence, which grows your confidence.
And that confidence expands your idea of what’s possible.
Then you begin the loop again—each time from a more powerful place.
Where Are You Confident? Where Are You Not?
We reflected as a community on these two questions:
What’s one thing you’re confident doing in your Purium business?
What’s one thing you’re not confident doing—yet?
The answers were raw and real:
Confident at:
Hosting events. Sharing stories. Follow-ups. Using products. Enrolling customers.
Not confident at:
Talking about the comp plan. Reaching out to new people. Doing live videos. Cold calls. Business invites. Walking into a business with samples.
The truth? We all start somewhere. And we all have edges we’re avoiding.
The Real Reason You’re Stuck
So… why don’t we do the things we know would grow our business?
Because we’re avoiding the discomfort. We think we need to be more ready, more trained, more polished.
But the breakthrough happens when you do the thing before you feel ready.
The Confidence Challenge: Go There
Grab a piece of paper and write down:
Five Purium-specific actions you’ve been avoiding.
Be honest. Stretch yourself. What are you not doing that you know would move your business forward?
Now circle the one that would be the most powerful. (Hint: it’s probably the most uncomfortable.)
Then ask yourself:
What would my life and business look like in 30 days if I took this action every single day?
Pause. Feel it in your body. Visualize it.
Now write it down.
The chat blew up with powerful answers:
“Less stress.”
“Rank advancement.”
“Brand partners coming in with ease.”
“Confidence oozing from my pores.”
“Feeling like a real nutrition coach.”
“Closer to my goals. More authentic. More free.”
This is the magic of clarity + action.
One Small Commitment
You don’t have to go from zero to hero in a day.
But what if you committed to this powerful action once a week?
What if you kept that promise to yourself, consistently?
Because confidence is built by doing the thing and keeping the promise.
So, here’s your invitation:
What will you commit to this week?
Say it. Write it. Claim it.
Because your more confident self is already waiting to meet you—on the other side of action.
Final Inspiration: Just. Do. It.
We ended the session with a simple video reminder (yes, the iconic one):
“Yesterday you said tomorrow. So just do it.”
“Some people dream of success… you’re going to wake up and work hard at it.”
“Nothing is impossible. Just. Do. It.”
So whatever that thing is for you—
Just start.
Start small.
Start scared.
Start now.
Ready to Grow?
If you’re committed to doing the thing that stretches your confidence muscle this week, share it below or write it down where you can see it.
This is how we grow together.
This is how leaders are born.
And this is how your business—and your belief—expand.
Let’s do it. 💥
